Unit 8: Week 1

Initial Song Ideas

Idea 1:

This will be a relatively laid-back but fast-paced song with fast acoustic drums. This would be
the A-section, although I'm not sure if there will be a different section for the chorus. There
might be a different section for the bridge. Next, I would like to add a bass line (of which I have
an idea), and the drums. I will also probably add piano or organ in the background.

Idea 2:

This will probably be very similar to the last one, however, I would change the acoustic guitar
to a clean, reverbed electric guitar. I could also add electric drums with triplets here, or filter
out the high end (3-5k+) to create a more snappy sound. Next, I would like to add a bass line
and create the drums as aforementioned. I will probably also add piano in the background.


Idea 3:

This will also likely be recorded on a clean (but pushed), reverbed electric guitar. Acoustic 
drums and simple bass line would be nice here. It will be a more slow-paced song than the
others.
